  1. What is P-TECH?
    1.  Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) is an innovative high school that allows students an opportunity to receive both a high school diploma and an associate degree. In the P-TECH model, schools partner with Texas institutions of higher education and regional businesses and industries, giving students post-secondary education and workforce training opportunities.

  2. Who can apply?
    1. Any 8th grader, incoming freshman, who lives in the Bexar County area.

  3. How do I apply?
    1. Students will complete the P-TECH Academy application in the Spring of their 8th-grade year.Students accepted into the academy will be enrolled in the summer bridge program that will prepare students for success intaking college-level courses while in high school.


  4. Do I have to pay to take Dual Credit Classes an industry-based certification exams?
    1. No, Edgewood ISD pays the costs for all college classes and certification exams taken by the student.
